Exploring Mammoth Hot Spring Terraces
To
learn more about this constantly changing area use the self-guiding
publication available at each trailhead.
Allow
a minimum of 2 hours to walk the trail system.
Elevation
changes approximately 300 feet; expect some steep grade and stairs.
Unstable
ground and scalding water.
For
your safety and protection of this fragile area, please:
stay
on the trails at all times
never
touch or throw anything into thermal pools or runoff channels
do
not smoke or litter
do
not take pets on trails
